Facility data

Rack names, topology, engineering values, scenario events and imported twins are processed locally. This website has no application database, facility upload endpoint, account system or server-side project storage. Simulation runs in a browser worker. Export and reporting generate files on your device.

Browser storage

Complete projects and autosaves use IndexedDB. Display preferences and analytics consent use localStorage. Clearing site data deletes these local copies. Private browsing, device loss and storage eviction can also remove projects. Export .dctwin backups when you need a durable copy. Projects are not synchronized across browsers or devices.

Learning sessions

Lab models, checkpoints and evidence use a separate local IndexedDB database. Completion, attempt counts and step progress use small localStorage metadata. Nothing is synchronized to a cloud learning service. Lab start, reset and completion may produce generic analytics events only with consent; lab IDs, progress, scores, diagnoses and engineering values are never analytics parameters. Save as normal project deliberately creates a separate copy.

Optional analytics

We ask for opt-in consent everywhere before loading Google Analytics. Choosing “Essential only” keeps the analytics script unloaded, including cookieless analytics pings. The product works without analytics. If you allow it, Google receives allowlisted feature event names and technical metadata such as browser information and network address. We do not send project names, rack labels, equipment values, imported contents, URL queries, fragments or referring URLs.

Advertising storage, ad user data, ad personalization and Google signals remain disabled. Automatic enhanced measurement is disabled for the data stream. You can reopen Analytics preferences in the footer or workspace status bar. Revocation reloads the page to remove the active analytics runtime.

Hosting

Cloudflare serves static application assets over HTTPS. The hosting provider processes web requests and associated connection metadata. Facility documents are never included in those requests. Google Analytics, when opted into, is subject to Google’s privacy policy. Hosting is subject to Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

Import safety

Imports are limited to 5 MB and checked against a strict versioned schema. Invalid connections, cyclic power graphs, overlapping rack units and non-finite values are rejected. Labels render as text; imported files cannot supply executable code.
